ROCCAT will support the former ENCORE team at DreamHack Open Stockholm, which kicks off on Tuesday. Back in July, ROCCAT caught the headlines as it ventured into the competitive Counter-Strike scene once again with the acquisition of the team known as ENCORE shortly before the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne. After the event, where the team finished at the bottom of their group, the players went their separate ways, but at the start of September Miikka "suNny" Kemppi and Mikko "xartE" Välimaa assembled a new roster, called MIXCAT, for the qualifying stages for the Cluj major.
The Finnish team ended up clinching the final European spot at DreamHack Open Stockholm, where they will be playing under ROCCAT's banner as the German peripherals company decided to continue supporting the core of the previous lineup. ROCCAT will face Cloud9 in the first round of DH Open Stockholm's Group A, which also features dignitas and Immunity. The Finnish team will attend the event with:
